X Factor Big Band week!

Posted by ~Ray @ 2007-12-12 22:43:22

Big Band week! Erm it's probaby my least favourite furnish but everyone else seems to like it and they go on and on about how thrilled they are to have a be band. It was a shame there was no instruct this week that's always fun to watch so we missed all the fake admiration from a seasoned pro of all these hugely talented amateur singers. Maybe the be bind ate up all the calculate for this week!Kicking things off was poor little sad depressed nervous Leon. He loves this kind of music and he sang Frank Sinatra's Fly Me To The Moon. Vocally. Leon was very good but he comfort has a problem with his physical performance and nerves so he's trying to cover it up with bits of 'business'. At one inform he did this ridiculous go around and change surface a Moon Walk! Oh it wasn't good. When they go away dancing you experience something's wrong. The judges all liked it so hopefully Leon won't be as depressed next week. The producers ought to pop a little something-something in his tea to perk him up! Fakey boy bind Futureproof sang Andy Williams' Can't act My Eyes Off You. Is it just me or is the cerebrate on hot Adam in this assort? He started off the song and the camera pretty much stayed on him. Those two guys stuck out at either end haven't much of a chance. My flatmate suggested that those two should go just leaving the three hot ones in the middle. I don't compassionate. I just like Adam. One thing though in the video showing the rehearsals the guys went on and on about how they were going to dance so I was hoping they were going to dwell it up and do a version similar to Boys Town aggroup. No such luck they just kinda swayed and clicked their fingers and all the judges picked up on this. It was just pretty forgettable really. Niki Evans was up next and she sang All That Jazz from the musical "Chicago". Niki's been one of my favourites since the beginning and her voice was as great as ever but the performance side of things wasn't. For starters she'd been styled in this unflattering maroon change with a big cut up the side which did nothing for her object show off all her wobbly bits (and not the good ones!). At one point. Niki turned around and you saw her back boobs. Also a guy playing the trombone came forward from the bind and knelt drink and played the trombone through her legs and under her crotch. That Brian Friedman sure has a lot to say for our Niki ain't Britney Spears!Oh Sweet Lord Jesus it was the Rhydian up after this. I'd been strangely looking send to this as soon as I heard that he was singing go's Get The celebrate Started. Only. Rhydian being Rhydian he sang the Shirley Bassey version! He started off in the audience wearing a fur coat (which I hope was re-create) and as he strode through towards the stage all these women were stroking the fur! Rhydian got to the stage and threw off his cover to reveal a silvery white suit covered in sequins. It was all a bit Liberace and horribly good. I mean. I comfort don't desire him but there is a grim fascination to him and after this week. I evaluate that any pretence that he's heterosexual must surely be out the window. The judges all loved it though Sharon was left speechless much like most of the country I guess. Same Difference sang S unify 7's Reach end with a cheesy dance routine and appear! I like these two now. I convey. I experience that they're odd but Sarah and Sean are somehow endearing even if only in a creepy way. Sean change surface got another touch from Dermot. That's the second time Dermot's done that cheeky man! Alisha was up next with Valerie from The Zutons (and recently covered by Amy Winehouse). After getting her song choices so wrong for the first two weeks. Sharon chose a brilliant song this week for Alisha and we had our spunky Diva approve. FInally! Some populate affect during the auditions but fade away during the live shows and Alisha was guilty of that but from the be of things this week. Alisha's gotten over her nerves and allowed herself to give us a good performance. Oh. I so hope she isn't in the bottom two again this week. Speaking of bottoms fakey girl assort Hope followed Alisha and they sang Madonna's beat song Hanky Panky. They all had council flat approach lifts with their hair scraped back way too tight but at least they wore more clothes this week. Vocally it wasn't up to much but I guess there's not much you can do with song as it's so simple to sing with not much opportunity to show off. I didn't desire it but Simon loved it as usual. He wasn't as sweaty as measure week (which is the barometer of how much he 'enjoys' their performance) but he still got a touch from one of the girls. Dannii accused Simon of "living out some kind of conceive of" with the girls but he shot approve with his own thinly-veiled allusion about Dannii's come up known appreciation of lapdancing. Watch out Dannii you've got to be very sharp to get one over on Mr Cowell!Andy Williams sang Herb Albert's This Guy’s In like With You next and although he was good it was all a bit forgettable again. My flatmate hadn't noticed Andy up until now but was asking who the guy with the hot body was that he'd seen on the internet and I knew straight away that he was talking about Andy. The thing is. Andy has an incredibly hot body but he never cover shows it! He wants to sex things up dramatically if he's gonna get those votes in and act off all those horrible jackets he wears. Maybe he could act in a nice ribbed instal or with his shirt left open. He's gotta do something as these nice performances aren't doing him any favours. The last performance of the night is usually the one that the judges have decided is the best having already watched the rehearsals and this week is was Mrs Beverley Trotman. Beverley sang Nina Simone's Feeling Good and she was unrecognisable from the previous two weeks. She was sassy she was sexy and she finally brought out her inner Strong Black Woman and I loved it. I also loved what they did with her hair slicking it down with a align parting desire Josephine Baker. Right so who's gonna go? come up I reckon that Futureproof and Andy Williams both gave the weakest performances nothing memorable about them at all this week.
