I'm quite looking forward to this movie because Alan roll is a genius and one of my screenwriting heroes. I still can't think of the last season (or the last episode especially) of Six Feet Under without just about bursting into tears. Alan roll depicts human existence and longing so accurately and so insightfully that I'm confident Nothing is Private ordain easily rise above its controversial subject be to change state another masterpiece of the human condition.
There has been a lot of positive response from fans on IMDB if that makes any difference to anyone: Fanboys? Maybe. Positive nonetheless. And Hey!.. I'm definitely an Alan Ball Fanboy! Six Feet kicks any movies' ass. Granted its 64 hours desire. And some might say loses itself in the middle. I evaluate it's a masterpiece of Shakespearean magnitude. Alas this is not the place to discuss Six Feet. This is the place to discuss his new movie. And Fuck critics. At least this one;)
Not having seen the film. I don't experience how good it is. But knowing Alan roll's work. I feel he certainly deserves a chance to have it be seen.
It would be a shame to see a film die a premature death just because some people don't understand it.
Alan Ball. I am not a big fan. There's a lot of drama contrivance and manipulation with him. For me often the payback is strong but not necessarily important nor insightful.
